Nanette Z looking for wine near her birthday party restaurant searched online and found Liquors on Allen. It's a tiny nondescript basement shop where you have to be buzzed in if you want to view its wine selection. We were pleasantly surprised that the shop offered a good variety of wines, mostly imported, in all price ranges including a $300+ bottle. After viewing almost the entire shop's selection, she ended up with 3 Decoy Cabernet Sauvignons, 2 Philippe Auchère Sancerre and 2 Chardonnays. After we got to the restaurant we discovered that only 6 were in the bags. Luckily it was 2 blocks away and the bottle was waiting for us. Prices are fair by NYC standards, and we'd shop here again if nearby.

Reliable place to pick up alcohol. You walk in and it in just a little area you wait in line and then ask for what you need through the glass (very security heavy place). Not a place for browsing or being particular. There is an option to get buzzed in to see the wine. The guy working was quiet and to the point. Reveiws say theyre rude but its new york and they likely deal with many difficult people. Go in, get what you need, and leave. Solid priced. No hassle. Close by.

My go- to liquor store. The service is always fast and efficient and for the most part, they always have what I need in stock. I will continue to give them my business. 5/5

Ok selection of tequila. Cashier behind glass which seemed a little lonely :( but made me slightly nervous but he was friendly and helpful.

This family-run liquor store is really clean and cozy. They have a great wine selection and one of the store owners has a really great knowledge on whiskey (one of my favs)! Definitely feel free to ask them questions! I believe they also host tastings from time-to-time.

When you walk in it's a really nice clean warm and cozy atmosphere with relaxing music. Their selection of liquor and wine is excellent. Customer service is great, people are very very nice and extremely helpful.

I must say that I'm the living example of the saying: "support your local business." Practically live right on top of this liquor store that used to be owned by my aunt and uncle (the cute old Asian couple, as some of you may remember). They sold it to these super cool, chill Asian dudes. A fair exchange. Ask them what champagne goes well with Mango--they got the answer. Which brand of Gin is good yet reasonably priced--they know. Which is a good Korean drink to gift--do I have to say it again? Or just go down to have convo. Looking forward to see how they revamp the store. The fact that I practically don't have to leave my apartment to get alcohol, that the owners are chill, and that prices are on the cheaper side, I don't see a reason to go to any other liquor store.

Old Asian couple - good service and good merchandising. Easy to find and decent prices. They're friendly and personable.
